In conjunction with the American Red Cross, The Gaslight Costume Shoppe is sponsoring a blood drive on October 3, 2009 from 10:00AM-2:00PM. Due to the increased foot traffic in the costume shop and the constant demand for blood donors; this is the ideal time and season for the two to join forces! In addition we felt by using the Halloween season and calling it “A Drip for Dracula” we would be able to draw attention “in a fun way” to the great need for blood donations in our community.

 

In order to get more people to give blood, we will make it a day of fun! Bring the whole family down to enjoy the festivities, while one or some of you donate blood. We will have a free jumping castle, music, costume contests, games and lots of food! Anyone presenting to donate blood will receive a voucher for a free hot dog, chips and soda from Little Anthony's Mobile Diner.
