Bio Of Dan Gunther
Dan has been working unsteadily at the Gaslight since 1982 which amounts to about 59 productions and somewhere around 5,000 performances. But who's counting? He's worked with many wonderful actors and singers over the years. Even played Bass Guitar in the band ! Backstage, he's seen laughter, tears, and everything in between. Dan has lots of stories to tell but would like to pass along this to you-“One of the best things about working here is the Gaslight fans. Hardly a day goes by where I'm not stopped in a store or church or somewhere by a guest who really enjoys the shows and likes to share a story or two from their lives. Tucson has some wonderful people in it and I love to talk to them about their Gaslight experiences."When he's not working, Dan likes to be at home with his family. Late at night he walks his dog and plays guitar along the streets of his neighborhood. He's a bit of an adrenaline junkie who likes rock climbing, working out, softball and running and biking. Dan has also appeared on stage at SALOC, at the University of Arizona, and on TV, as well as lending his voice to many TV and radio commercials. He even traveled with Up With People at one time. He plays bass as well as guitar and is currently seeking members for his Christian band Konduit. On some weekends you can see him focus his love and energy into leading worship at Pantano Christian church where he is on staff.
